Two red squirrels live in the woods North of the village and
regularly visit the gardens there.

Four red squirrels regularly visit the garden to raid the bird feeders.
These pictures show two of them. They are not camera-shy
and can be watched from only a few feet away.

Some pictures from Dunblane, taken by George. The squirrel
successfully invaded the squirrel-proof bird feeders and was bold
even when approached. The greyish winter coat seems to be
coming in even though it is only late August!
